“Golf in Eastern Wisconsin”
Eastern Wisconsin is fast becoming one of the top golf destinations in the world, with designs by the likes of Pete Dye, Jack Nicklaus and Arnold Palmer all within a short drive of each other. And that’s not even counting Erin Hills, site of the 2017 U.S. Open.
The Kohler properties of Whistling Straits and Blackwolf Run, with two courses at each location designed by Pete Dye, are the best-known layouts in the region. The Straits Course has hosted the PGA Championship twice and will do so again this August (2015). It also will host the Ryder Cup matches in 2020.
Use my book to help you visualize how you to play these great courses before your visit, or follow along on television as the world’s top players make their way around these fantastic tracks. Each chapter includes shot-by-shot course management tips that help you shoot better scores and have more fun.
Sincere thanks go to the courses for their hospitality in helping me “research” this book, and to Pete Dye for contributing the foreword. Enjoy!
